1,158,846. Hearing aid; transistor amplifiers. H. M. HARRIS. 21 Dec., 1967 [21 Sept., 1966], No. 42235/66. Headings H3T and H4J. A hearing aid amplifier circuit includes D.C. feedback via resistor 19, which sets the operating point of the silicon transistor amplifier stages, and variable A.C. feedback via resistor 22 to provide gain control. Capacitor 23 controls the frequency response of the circuit, capacitor 30 prevents instability at high frequencies and resistor 29 matches the impedance of the loudspeaker 27 to that of the amplifier 13.
