Abstract
1,156,413. Electrophotography. EASTMAN KODAK CO. 4 Aug., 1966 [4 Aug., 1965], No. 4132/69. Divided out of 1,156,412. Heading H1K. An electrophotographic material comprises a support carrying a layer of particulate photoconductor dispersed in a bisphenol of formula wherein X is a divalent single bond, a divalent single atom or a divalent organic radical, and R 1 and R 2 are radicals or hydrogen. In an embodiment 2,2 - bis - (4 - hydroxyphenyl) - pentane, ZnO, Bromophenol blue, and anhydro-3,3<SP>1</SP>-di- #-carboxyethyloxacarbocyanine hydroxide are suspended in acetone and coated on paper. Many other examples of bisphenols are given.
