Abstract

1,155,923. Drop handles. METAL CONTAINERS Ltd. 23 Jan., 1968 [23 Jan., 1967], No. 3403/67. Heading A4U. Upward movement of a drop handle is limited by abutment of end parts 13, bent into the loop 11 and in the plane thereof, with a stop 18, 19 formed by cutting and bending the front and lower walls of a channelled part of the back plate 16 which forms sockets 20 for parts 12 of the loop. Projections 22, 23 pressed out of the plate reinforce the stop and the sockets, drainage holes 24 being provided.
