The rear and end of this storage battery not shown are identical to the front and end shown.

The design for the disclosed storage battery is characterized by having an inwardly stepped bottom portion on all sides of the battery and having identical indented labeling panels on both ends of the battery, said labeling panels extending from a projected top portion of the battery to the stepped bottom portion and being bounded on both side edges by substantially parallel vertical beads which also extend from the projected top portion to the stepped bottom portion of the battery.
