1,155,388. Variable resistors. TELEFUNKEN PATENTVERWERTUNGS G.m.b.H. 7 July, 1966 [17 July, 1965], No. 30464/66. Heading H1S. [Also in Division H3] A potentiometer for tuning radio receivers (see Division H3) comprises a printed circuit plate 29 containing potentiometer strips 30, each of which is traversed by two sliding contacts 13 attached to nuts on push-button spindles (Fig. 1, not shown). Rotation of a button moves the corresponding slider along the strip, and when a button is pressed in, contacts 19 connect the slider to a conductive strip 37. A sleeve on the button can perform additional switching functions (see Division H3).
