[Also in Division F2] In a resilient mounting arrangement for an engine-transmission unit 1 disposed transversely in a vehicle, said unit is suspended from chassis elements 4, 4a by members 2 in the longitudinal axis of the unit with interposed resilient blocks 3, and a resilient supporting plate 5, parallel to the vehicle axis, is fixed at one end 6 to the unit 1 through a bracket 21 and has its other end 7 gripped between two resilient blocks 13, 13a by a U-shaped member 14 fixed to a chassis element 8, distortion of said blocks 13, 13a being prevented by means of at least one U-section member disposed between member 14 and block 13, and/or element 8 and block 13a. Abutment members 26, 26a spaced a predetermined distance from plate 5 and retained in position by arm 28 limit movement of the plate.
