Abstract

1,152,955. Sprung wooden floors. POWERLOCK FLOORS, Inc. 23 Aug., 1966, No. 37775/66. Heading E1W. The wooden floor disclosed in Specification 940,664 is modified by placing strips 41 of butyl rubber under the channels 11 supporting the floor boards 30, slabs 42 of asphalt-impregnated fibre-board having a density between 16 and 33 pounds/cu. ft. under the floor boards and a thin vinyl membrane 40 across the whole area of the foundation. The channels 11 are fixed to the foundation by headed fasteners 15.
