Abstract
1,151,357. Valves. MOLINS MACHINE CO. Ltd. 9 Sept., 1966 [14 Sept., 1965], No. 39207/65. Heading F2V. In a flow-regulating valve of the screw-down type which comprises a valve seat 2 and a valve member, e.g. a rubber diaphragm 9, the latter is manually adjustable toward and away from the seat to provide a given orifice area whilst an electric motor drives a cam 18, the follower 17 of which acts on the seat 2, preferably through levers 14, 16, to move it away from and toward the valve member 9 in an intermittent and predetermined manner to increase the orifice area from and restore it to, the predetermined orifice area.
