Abstract
1,151,322. Hook and eye fasteners. FRITZ HOCH and ERWIN BADER [trading as GUTOS METALLSCHLIESSENFABRIK BADER & HOCH K.G.]. 25 Jan., 1968 [28 Jan., 1967], No. 3919/68. Heading A3H. A hook and eye fastener consists of a substantially U-shaped hook member 1 whose leg 3 has a pair of convexly curved resilient detents 4 which engage and hold in place the eye member 15 which is concavely curved on its face 16 to co-operate with the detents. The hook and eye members are attached to their respective pieces of material by means of prongs 2a, 2b, 17, integrally attached to the hook and eye 15, being passed through the material and openings 8, 21 in the associated backing plates 5, 18 and being bent into recesses 9, 22. In a modification, Figs. 5 to 7 (not shown), the hook member has only one curved resilient detent (14).
