Headings B1R and B1X [Also in Division F4] Air conditioned cabinet 1 in which temperature and himidity may be adjusted as desired, comprises: cooler 17 in insulated compartment 2. Air from chamber 1 enters compartment 2 past movable flap 10, passes through cooler 17, enters 1 by passage 18, and passes down passage 5 between flaps 19 into passage 6 where it is recombined with air which has by-passed the cooler by being passed down passage 4. The recombined stream then passes through heater 12, and perforated floor 13 to compartment 1. Circulation is effected by fan 7, and adjustment of flap 10 as desired determines whether the whole, a part, or none of the circulating stream passes through cooler 17. Water vapour may be injected into the air stream in passage 4 above perforated plate 11.
