Abstract

1,150,287. Removing gramophone records from presses. TELDEC TELEFUNKENDECCA SCHALLPLATTEN G.m.b.H. 13 May, 1966 [13 May, 1965], No. 21335/66. Heading B5A. A pressed gramophone record (3) which remains on a lower die (2) of a gramophone record press (2) is removed therefrom by a device comprising a lever arm (5) supporting suction cups (4) at one end, the arm (5) being raised and lowered by a lifting drive (7) and roteted horizontally into and out of the press by a rotary drive (6). In a further embodiment (Fig. 2) the lever arm (25) is raised by a drive (26) intermediate its ends, the end of the arm (25) remote from the press being pivoted in a bearing (27), while the drive (26) is connected to a push and pull mechanism (28). In a final embodiment (Fig. 3) an arm (35) carrying suction pads (34) is rotated about its longitudinal axis by bevel gears so that it is lifted and turned simultaneously, both through 180 degrees of arc.
