A device for dispensing measured quantities of liquid from a non-refillable type bottle or like container having a stopper means including a valve element 9a normally preventing the bottle from being refilled but allowing the outflow of liquid when the bottle is tilted, wherein the device comprises a socket member 10 having a screw thread arranged to engage with a thread on the stopper means and a pin 13 adapted, when the container is inverted, to lift the valve element thereby allowing air to flow into the container as the liquid is flowing out; the pin is formed integrally with a separator plate 14.
