Abstract
1,144,000. Boilers. HAMILTON REID FABRICATIONS Ltd. 8 Dec., 1967 [13 Dec., 1966; 13 July, 1967], Nos. 55784/66 and 32199/67. Heading F4A. Combustion products from a burner flow through a chamber 15 and are reversed at a wall 15b to flow back along a wall 12a before reversing again to flow through channels 12 in contact with the wall 10a of the water chamber 10. The channels 12 are formed by dividing webs welded to both the walls 12a, 10a. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the gases from the channels 12 flow to the outlet flue through a further annular passage (20) around the water jacket 10.
