Abstract
1427636 Sectional boilers SOC GENERALE DE FONDERIE 17 Aug 1973 [8 Sept 1972] 39113/73 Addition to 1378680 Heading F4A The sectional boiler disclosed in the parent Specification 1,387,680 is modified by the provision of lateral flues 26, and two sets 25, 30 of central flues in each boiler element; ribs extending from the face of each element defining a combustion gas path between the combustion chamber 6 and the central flues. Two forms of element are disclosed: in element E1 (Fig. 2) ribs 11, 13 and 31 define a gas path C1 to the innermost set of central flues 25; in element E2 (Fig. 3) ribs 11, 13 and 32 define a gas path C2 which leads to only the outermost central flues 30. Elements of types E1, E2 are used in combination as indicated in Fig. 1, alternatively a set of elements E1 could be used on their own to form the boiler.
