Abstract

1,143,717. Lighters. SCRIPTO Inc. 17 April, 1967 [18 April, 1966], No. 17505/67. Heading F4F. A filling nozzle 160 for a refill can for filling a gas-fuelled lighter which has a filling valve assembly and a burner valve assembly side by side has a nozzle part 165 for insertion into the filler valve assembly and provided with a gas emitting notch 166 and has a spray guard plate 167 with slots 168 to receive the wind shield of the lighter and between them an arm 169 which presses on a reciprocable pin (60) of the burner valve to maintain it closed during filling.
