Abstract

1,142,978. Carrier frequency systems. SIEMENS A.G. 11 July, 1966 [12 July, 1965], No. 31006/66. Heading H4R. Multiplex carrier frequency communication equipment has a rack assembly which contains a distributer rack mounted back to back with a converter rack. The distributer rack contains two distributer panels 15 and 17, Fig. 3, separated by a cross connection field 21 and the converter rack carries a number of converters PGU with connector panels 19 centrally located adjacent the central distributer panel 17. Transmission filters 22 are located on the lower portion of the distributer rack with their connector panels 23 uppermost adjacent the distributer panel 17. The primary group input lines are connected to the distributer panel 15 at the top of the distributor rack. Several such assemblies may be mounted side by side so that jumping from one distributor rack to another may be carried out, Fig. 5 (not shown).
