A reinforcement spacer of plastics material for supporting perpendicularly intersecting reinforcing rods has generally key-hole shaped slots 9 in webs 5 intersecting at right-angles with a key-hole shaped slot 8 in a web 6, the flanges, 24 and 26 respectively, supporting the webs 5 and 6 also being at right-angles to each other. Each slot 9 has a lower, partcircular portion 9a, an intermediate part-circular portion, and a tapered mouth 14.
