Abstract

1,142,743. Moulding urinals. COLTMAN PLASTICS Ltd. 21 Nov., 1967 [25 Aug., 1966], No. 38171/66. Heading B5A. [Also in Division A4] A urinal stall comprising a back provided with a moulded sparge channel adapted to direct flushing water against the back, the channel extending laterally across the back from one end to other between end sections of the stall. The stall is made of glass fibre mat impregnated with polyester resin by a lay-up process using a mould of complementary shape. In a prefered embodiment the stall comprises back sheet 1 with a moulded sparge channel 2 at the top which extends laterally between end sections 3 and 4. Holes are drilled in the sparge channel which are directed towards the back 1 of the stall. The discharge trough 7 is integrally formed with back 1. The sparge channel is provided with a riser pipe 15 (Fig. 2 referred) connected with a flushing tank 16.
