Abstract

114,242. Huntly, J. L. June 25, 1917. Work-gauging arrangements. - Relates to cutting-apparatus for paper, cardboard, &c. in which the cutting-blade or wheel is operated by the pressure of the hand and having a table on one side only of the cutter. According to the invention, an extension with a rule and cross-bar is provided on the other side of the cutter for gauging the length of material to be cut. The extension consists of two arms A, B fixed to the base of the apparatus; the cross-bar C is mounted on the arms and secured by a clamping screw D.
