Sheet-registering devices, for adjusting the position of the material to be operated upon in guillotines, cutting, card-trimming, perforating, and other machines, comprise one or more adjustable bars E, K, Fig. 1, carrying movable blocks or heads M, N, against which the material P rests. The bar E is attached to a frame F, which is movable along a groove D in the direction of the knife C; the bar K may be moved across the table A along guides G, H. The blocks M, N may be provided with springs so as to secure a close fit against the table, and may be united by a removable pin O.
