Abstract

1,139,612. Printed circuit board surface connectors. FERRANTI Ltd. 17 Nov., 1967 [14 Dec., 1966], No. 56100/66. Heading H2E. Printed circuit boards 17 are linked by a connector comprising insulating bodies 10 held together by a screw 16 and carrying contacts 12 which have end -portions 13 in abutting engagement and terminal tags 14 soldered to printed circuitry 15. The contacts 12 are pushfitted in apertures in each body 10 and are arranged in a closed path, preferably circular, polarising projections and recesses preferably being provided on the bodies 10.
