Abstract

A clamp for holding three scaffold or the like tubular elements in fixed relation to one another comprises a body including a housing forming a chamber 14, the chamber being provided by the inside faces 22, 23 and 24 of three plane members which at the interception of their edges have an aperture 2 passing through the body, the aperture having an axial direction which is symmetrical to the intercepting edges of the plane members and the outside face of each of the plane members form part of a clamping wing 4, 4', 4" forming an integral portion of the body. The clamping wings have each a free end portion defining a pivotal support for a corresponding clamping arm 6, 6', 6" the pivot axes of the pivotal supports are each parallel to the respective intrecepting edge. The housing looselyl retains clamping members 13, 13', 13" for gripping and retaining the clamping arms. The aperture ending at one end in the chamber and at its opposite end in a plane surface of the body. Two clamps are combined by superimposing the plane surfaces to provide six or seven clamping directions.
