1,086,154. Clamps; hinges. COMPAGNIE GENERALE DU DURALUMIN ET DU CUIVRE. June 1, 1965 [June 3, 1964], No. 23290/65. Headings E2B and E2F. A coupling for collapsible tent frames comprises two body members 1, 2 detachably connected together and having in their opposing surfaces pairs of substantially hemispherical depressions 3, 3 forming sockets for ball ends 4a projecting from ends of frame elements 8 and further comprising a clamping means common to all the pairs of depressions and adapted to clamp the ball ends in the sockets. As shown, the clamping means is a screw-eye 6 having thereon a sleeve 7 which is caused to abut the ball ends 4a. The two body members are held together during assembly by screws 5.
