1,175,886. Furniture joints. E. J. TRACYKELLY. 14 May, 1968 [22 May, 1967], No. 23649/67. Heading A4H. [Also in Divisions B8 and E1] Two frames each made up from eight mitred end units 1 held together by means of rods, tubes, or bars 2 which pass right through bores or grooves in them and are held in position on the rods &c. by means of screws &c. 4 engaging the ends of the rods &c., are joined by tubes 33 secured to the frames by screws 38, to form a three dimensional framework and the tubes 33 may carry corner brackets 34 which have slots or grooves for the reception of panels 37, to form a box, the panels being of glass or wood, or plastics or metal. Extension blocks or units for increasing the size of the frame may be inserted between the units 1 and are also provided with sleeves or grooves to accommodate the rods 2 &c.
