Abstract
1,136,213. Water supply. JACUZZI BROS. Inc. 14 Dec., 1965 [27 Jan., 1965], No. 25143/65. Heading E1X. [Also in Division F1] A device for maintaining pressure in a fluid supply system on the outlet line of a pump comprises an expansible (e.g. rubber) tube 15 contained in a rigid housing 17 to limit the amount of expansion of the tube. The pump is controlled by a pressure switch which actuates at the maximum and minimum pressures of a desired operating range. The pipe may be connected in the line by both its ends for water to flow therethrough, or by one end only with the other end closed. The tube may be clamped around a perforated pipe 49.
