1,135,795. Spray-producers. A. F. WIGLEY. 6 May, 1966 [11 May, 1965], No. 54234/66. Divided out of 1135794. Heading B2F. A spray-producer adapted to be attached to a tap comprises a body portion 77 having a throughbore which at or adjacent one end 79 is formed with an internal screw thread, said body portion having an increased diameter portion which is externally screw-threaded and formed with a plurality of spray producing ducts 82, and a casing 75 which is internally threaded for co-operation with the external threads on the body portion and which, with said body, defines an annular chamber 92 from which the water from the tap passes to the duct 82, the internal thread on the body portion cooperating with an externally threaded annular member 87 which is sealed at one end by a member 83 mounted in a flexible tube 86. If the ducts 82 become blocked the water pressure causes the member 83 to be moved out of engagement with the member 87 so that water is discharged through a central opening 95 via cut-aways in the tube 86 and radial grooves 85 in the head 84 of the member 83.
