Abstract

1,134,956. Pedals. RALEIGH INDUSTRIES Ltd. 3 Oct., 1967 [3 Feb., 1967], No. 5225/67. Heading B7E. A pedal comprises a moulded block 12 surrounded by a frame 13 and having a blind bore 12a which receives a spindle unit 11, this unit consisting of a spindle 11b mounting bushes 11c, 11c<SP>1</SP> which are located axially by a plastics tube 11d, the bush 11c being prevented from sliding off the spindle by an eccentric washer 11e and a cap 11g crimped on the bush. The frame comprises a U-shaped main. portion releasably connected with an end portion through which the spindle passes. The pedal may have straight or bowed long sides and the block faces may be wholly or partly ribbed.
