A castor comprises a shaft 12 supported coaxially within a tubular mounting bracket 22 by a pair of bosses 15, 21, a wheel fork 5 swivellably mounted on one end of the shaft 12, and a pin 20 engaged through a slot (23) in the bracket 22 and a bore in portion 19 of one boss 15 to prevent relative rotation of the shaft 12 and bracket 22.
