1496672 Castors ARCHIBALD KENRICK & SONS Ltd 21 April 1975 [23 July 1974] 32460/74 Heading A4U A castor comprises a frame element 11 carrying a pivot 16 for connection to a piece of furniture and a spindle 25 rotatably mounting two wheels (32), (33) on opposite sides of element 11, and an arcuate cover element 41 engaged with element 11 so as partially to enshroud element 11 and the wheels (32, 33) element 41 being supported by a curved part 23 of element 11. Element 11 has abutments 14, 22 that snap fit in recess 43, 44 in element 41. Spindle 25 has a splined centre portion (27) to retain it in element 11 and grooved end portions (29, 30) that receive abutments (38, 39) on the wheels to retain the latter thereon.
