Abstract

1496934 Attaching rotatable handles to rose plates JAMES GIBBONS Ltd 20 April 1976 [21 April 1975] 16417/75 Heading E2A The bearing 15 which supports a door handle 11 in rose plate 10 is press-fitted at 15a into the plate and includes a pair of semicircular grooves 17 accommodating circularlyarranged return springs 19. These springs act on ears 22 on disc 20 secured to handle spindle 13. A spacing washer 14 prevents the handle hub 11a rubbing on the plate. Parts 14 and 15 may be of nylon.
