Abstract

1,134,907. Warning lamps. SILVAFLAME CO. Ltd. 11 Oct., 1967, No. 46382/67. Heading F4R. A warning lamp comprising a lamp housing 10 for an electric light source 33, which may be a flashing lamp, includes an upper body member above which the lamp housing is mounted and which is adapted to form the head of a multilegged stand, the legs 39 being secured in recesses in the head, shaped to engage their upper portions. The body member 19 has a raised, approximately triangular, part 26 forming a shallow chamber closed by a plate 31 which carries a sleeve-like member 32 supporting a holder for the lamp. A battery 35 is secured to the underside of the plate 31 by nuts 38 which engage terminal posts 37 on the battery. U- shaped sockets 40 are provided two at adjacent corners of the part 26 and one centrally of the opposite side, the legs 39 being secured in these by bolts. In a modification, the battery is carried in a protective casing secured to the underside of the body member. The legs 39 may be made with telescopically sliding portions. The body member may also be provided with a projecting bracket for mounting on a separate support.
