1506422 Lamps ELEKTROINSTALLATION OBERWEIMAR VEB 4 March 1975 [4 March 1974] 8963/75 Heading F4R An explosion-proof lamp comprises a pressureproof enclosure formed by an upper housing part, a central lamp part and a lower lighttransmissive part which are screw-threaded together to define a single chamber, heat insulating elements which are provided in the vicinity of the light source to shield other components within the chamber from the heat radiated by the lamp, and a holding device 4 in the upper housing part of the lamp chamber mounts a power supply series connecting unit on one face and the lamp socket on the other face. A switch may also be mounted so as to break the lamp supply circuit when the light transmissive part is detached.
