Abstract

1,134,224. Rotary compressors. HYMATIC ENG., CO. Ltd. May 2, 1966 [May 3, 1965], No. 18556/65. Headings F1F and F1N. Oil entrained in the gas delivered by a compressor, Fig. 1, is separated from the gas by passage through a plurality of felt discs 27 located between baffles 28 in a cylindrical chamber 25, and the oil which saturates the discs trickles therefrom to collect in a number of wells 30 each of which has a passage 35, Fig. 2, leading to a reservoir 37 through a filter and a fixed orifice. The filter is in the form of a hollow cone of sintered bronze integral with a screwed plug incorporating the orifice. The compressor is of the kind having a cylinder 11 in which is eccentrically mounted a rotor 14 having vanes 15 en-- gaging the cylinder and lubricated by oil admitted through an opening 18. Gas is drawn into the cylinder through ports communicating with inlet manifolds 16 and is discharged through cylinder ports connected to a delivery manifold 17.
