Abstract
1,134,011. Hydrofoil craft. P. T. M. NOTT. 2 Dec., 1965 [9 Sept., 1964], No. 36945/64. Headings B7A and B7V. In a water-craft of the hydroplane type two hydrofoil units 3, 4 are mounted in tandem below the hull 1, the forward hydrofoil unit 3 of two inclined blades being rotatably mounted in a sleeve-like bearing 6 and serving as a combined lifting and steering means for the craft. Hydrofoil unit 4 is rigidly attached to the hull at or near the after end of the craft. Controls (not shown) may be mounted on the handlebars 7 and connected with the power unit 2 in known manner.
