Abstract

1,133,745. Electromagnetic relays. INSTITUT AVTOMATIKI I ELEKTROMETRII SO AN SSSR. 10 Feb., 1966, No. 5850/66. Heading H1N. A polarized relay having a sealed magnetic contact unit has fixed contact springs 4, 5 bent to engage the opposite walls of the housing 1 to locate the contacts. The movable contact armature 3 is sealed in a branched port 2 of the housing 1 and has divided ends 6, 7 for cooperation with contacts 4, 5. The relative positions of the contacts depend upon permanent magnets 13, 14, 15 and the energization state of coils 11, 12, 16 and 17. In Fig. 2a (not shown), the movable contact armature comprises two flattened helical springs in tension. The armature contact member may be bent as a compressed double loop (Fig. 3, not shown) and normally engage one of the fixed contacts.
