A multiple axle mounting for a heavy duty vehicle such as a mobile crane comprises a yoke 2 pivotally mounted on each side of a vehicle frame above and centrally of the axles, and a beam 5 journalled on both arms of each yoke 2, the adjacent ends of the beams 5 terminating in bearings 11 of at least one central axle 9 and the other ends terminating in bearings 10 of a front and rear axle 8. As shown, there are three axles and the arm 7 of each beam 5 is half the length of the other arm 6 to provide equal loads on each wheel 15, 16. Each axle bearing comprises a pair of bolts 12, 13 mounted between brackets 14 below the axle.
