Abstract

1,130,967. Tank vehicles. YORKSHIRE ENG. & WELDING CO. (BRADFORD) Ltd. 26 Sept., 1967 [2 July, 1966], No. 29812/66. Headings B7B and B7L. A tank vehicle has a tank 2 provided with a flexible liner I secured such as by strips 9 to one half of the longitudinal extent of the tank, the other half of the liner being displaceable from the folded back position shown to a position contacting the other half of the tank. Inlet 3 and outlet 4 suitable for fluids communicate with the interior of the liner and openings 5 and 6 are suitable for powdered materials. Connections 7 and 8 allow compressed air to be used for displacing the liner to one side or the other.
