Abstract

The device is arranged in the inlet (3) of the bag, said inlet formed by the longitudinal welds (5, 6) extending from the edge of the bag into the interior (4) of the bag. The valve has two valve flaps (8, 9) to form pouches (11, 12) between the outside sheets (1, 2) and the valve flaps (8, 9) which are attached by transverse welds (10) to the respective insides of their channel, the pouches being open in the direction of the interior of the bag. The outside sheets (1, 2) and the valve flaps (8, 9) are welded to each other along two longitudinal welds (13, 14) so that a narrow tubular inner inlet (15) and inner pouches are formed on each side of the inner inlet (15) in the lower region of the inlet (3). The inner pouches remain expanded due to the entry of air from the flat bag so that liquid can enter the inner pouches when it flows back and, from there, over the inner tubular inlet (15), by which means the inlet is squeezed together and sealed.
