The existing seat cushions, eg pillows, blankets, etc. are intended to remain on the surface provided for the seat. They are intended for comfortable long-term use and usually also as a decoration for the seat. They are usually made of heavy material and are very thick, which makes them difficult to transport. They are therefore not suitable for taking with you or for temporary use, eg for resting on hikes or for use when visiting a stadium.

The invention is based on the object of creating a seat cover which, due to its low weight and small volume, is suitable for carrying in normal coat pockets, handbags and the like, or can even be carried as a carrying bag.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a seat cover in which two flexible, thin, air-impermeable plastic and/or natural material films lying one above the other, connected along their edges, are connected in their interior at points or along lines to form inflatable air chambers, which have at least one retractable valve in the chamber wall, the length and width of the cover corresponding to the average seat area of a person. After inflation, this seat cover serves as a cover for seats that have an unpleasant effect on the seated person's buttocks due to hardness, cold, unevenness, moisture, excessive heat, etc. The seat cover can also be used in events in

When inflated, the height of the air chamber is such that the upper and lower foils do not come into contact with the person sitting on them. The material of the seat cover can be colorless or colored, or its surface can be printed in color. A soft layer, e.g. a fiber layer or a foam layer, can also be attached, e.g. glued or welded, to the top of the seat.

A particularly useful embodiment of the seat cushion is characterized in that a flat, narrow, flexible strip is formed on its edge, on which locking devices and carrying handles are attached, so that the non-inflated seat cushion can be turned into a carrying bag.
