A self wringing mop comprises a flexible plate 12 secured to a handle shaft 11, and covered on both sides with sponge material 19, from which liquid may be squeezed by passage between roller assemblies 23, 24 when the shaft 11 is pulled relatively to a sleeve thereon, to which the roller assemblies 23, 24 are attached by linkages.
