Abstract

1,128,494. Attaching ends to containers. INTERNATIONAL PAPER CO. 16 Jan., 1967, No. 2125/67. Heading B5D. A paperboard container, e.g. plastics coated gable topped milk carton, is provided with a bottom by forming a blank into tubular form, mounting it on a mandrel with the bottom edge extending therefrom, and pressing a flat heated, thermoplastic bottom blank against said edge so that it becomes embedded in the thermoplastic material.
