Abstract

1,127,357. Clips. ANDREW TEXTILE DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. 17 April, 1967 [27 Aug., 1966], No. 38523/66. Heading E2B. A gripping device comprises a support mem- ber 2 having along its underside a series of spaced sheet-grippers each comprising an abutment 9 for engagement by one face of a sheet 1 and a resilient gripping member 4 attached 'to the support member 2 for engaging the other face of the sheet 1 and gripping the latter resiliently against the abutment 9. As shown, a pair of support members 2 is used to support a plurality of sheets 1, each member being formed with spaced slots 3 providing the abutments 9 and each gripping member 4 consisting of a rubbery finger provided with a shoulder 11 by which the member may be depressed into its slot to release the sheet. In another arrangement, Fig. 4 (not shown), each slot is provided with two gripping members.
