Abstract

1,127,190. Raking attachments for lawn mowers. E. T. HUNT. 29 Aug., 1967 [5 Sept., 1966], No. 39570/66. Heading A1F. An attachment for a lawn mower comprises a mounting bar 1 having a plurality of apertures 2, and a rake 4 having a plurality of prongs 3 which extend through the apertures. The attachment is fixed to the mower between its front roller and the cutting cylinder. The rake is adjustably mounted on the bar 1 by means of spring- loaded screws 5. The prongs 3 may be replaced by two parallel rows of finer prongs and spring washers may be located between the rake head and the heads of the screws 5. The ends of the prongs 3 may be bent towards the roller of the mower.
