Abstract

112,686. Burtinshaw, J. Feb. 12, 1917. Thread-guides.-The guide-wire is mounted in the lappet in such a manner that it can be adjusted both laterally and transversely of the frame and clamped in the adjusted position. The guide-wire B is screw-threaded, it engages with a nut C which projects through the lower face of the lappet, and is mounted in a groove d in a plate D which can swivel in the lappet. It is secured in the adjusted position by a bolt F which clamps the plate 1) in position. The form of the plate D may be varied.
