Abstract
1,126,365. Endless conveyers. GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA. 27 Oct., 1965 [28 Oct., 1964], No. 45465/65. Heading B8A. A conveyer shifting cylinder 1, Fig. 1, is connected with a trailing prop 2 by a leaf-spring 3 which passes round a support foot 4 of the trailing prop 2 without being connected thereto and is connected with the trailing prop 2 and/or the shifting cylinder 1 by known adjustable stops, shown as clamps 5. The clamp 5 on the trailing prop 2 is movable longitudinally so that the trailing prop 2 can slide in the clamp 5 if the support foot 4 gives. As shown in Fig. 4 an end 6 of the leaf-spring 3 engaging the trailing prop 2 is guided in a long bore 7 so arranged that in its lowered state the trailing prop 2 can be manually-tilted to a position oblique to the coal face. For repair work a chain 8 serves to hold the trailing prop 2 in an oblique position as shown in dot-dash lines.
