Abstract
1,122,892. Pot burners. SOC. ANON. FONDERIES DU LION. 18 Jan., 1967 [6 May, 1966], No. 2707/67. Heading F4T. A pot burner comprises a dish base 1 supporting an external wall 2, and upper and lower cylindrical members 4 and 6 which define the combustion zone and are retained by annular inserts 3 and 8 and by a rim 2<SP>1</SP>, the wall 2 being formed with holes 10 through which combustion air is supplied to annular spaces 5 and 7 where it mixes with vaporized fuel oil, supplied through pipe 11, before passing into the combustion space via holes 12. Combustion air passing into space 9 flows directly into the combustion space through rows of holes 13 and 14. A catalyst heater is adapted to be supported on rim 16.
