Abstract
1,122,791. Packaging yarn; conical plastics bags. J. P. BEMBERG A.G. 6 Sept., 1965 [12 Sept., 1964], No. 38012/65. Headings B8C and B8K. A yarn-laden cop is wrapped in an open ended thermoplastic sleeve, which is tapered to fit the shape of the cop. The sleeve may be made from seamless, longitudinally folded or pleated tubing, which is tapered by making converging hotwire welds, the resulting tip being cut off to leave an opening of the required size. The sleeve may be made from polyethylene film.
