Abstract

111,822. Dawson, P., and Fawdry, F. W. Sept. 20, 1917. Arrangements for securing continiiity of supply. -The adjacent sections 3 of trolly wires on electric railways &c. are anchored to a compression member 1 so as to overlap and provide a continuous contact for a sliding collector on the vehicles. The member 1 is secured at a predetermined angle to a deflector 5 mounted at rightangles to the track from an overhead support. The doflector carries pull-offs 8 whereby the ends of the conductors are held parallel to the compression member.
