1,118,148. Tractor power lift mechanisms. TRAKTORENWERK SCHONEBECK VEB. 9 Oct., 1965, No. 42932/65. Heading A1P. Movement of a position control lever 1 operates, via a link 4, an auxiliary valve 15 controlling a piston and cylinder 9 which moves to operate, via a link 10, the main control valve 16 to supply hydraulic fluid to the ram 11. A draft control rod 17 also operates the main control valve 16 through the link 10. The link 10 and the link 4 are connected by an adjustable linkage 14, 7 and 8 which is arranged so that when the draft control rod 17 moves the link 10 to operate the main valve to lower an attached implement, the adjustable linkage is moved to return the auxiliary valve 15 into its neutral position. The hydraulic system is returned to a neutral condition even if the position control lever is set to a depth which cannot be attained by an attached implement because of soil conditions, and thus large fluctuations in the depth of an attached implement in differing soil conditions is prevented.
