A mole plough comprises a beam 5 to which is pivotally attached the stem 8 of a mole 7, the beam being supported in a guide 2 and connected to a piston rod 4 of a hydraulic cylinder 3 which is used for adjusting the position of the beam. The beam is guided by a further guide 9. The position of the stem is adjusted by a hydraulic cylinder 12. The guide 2 is arranged so that it is situated mid-way between the two pairs of land-wheels.
